This is a very impressive book. I think I was most puzzled by the second life example of earning a living selling real-estate in the metaverse. Or of selling points won in online video games. I asked my teen-age son if he would ever want to buy points, and he seemed puzzled too. Gaming is supposed to be fun and while I get the analogy of paying someone else to mow your lawn is akin to paying someone else to rack up points for you in a game, I struggle with this concept. It seems strange to consider paying someone else to play your game for you… And yet, it exists and is a viable pathway for a career or supplemental income. Amazing to ponder.
